Center of Focus Homecoming Week- Oct. 6th, 2023

Focus on the Fabulous

What a week it’s been with all of the fabulous Homecoming festivities and there’s still more to come! Monday, everybody rolled out of bed and showed up to school in their pajamas! It was a relaxing way to start the busy week. Tuesday was gender-bender day and we saw some interesting dresses and mustaches!

Wednesday was Ken vs. Barbie Day. I’m still working on Ken pictures, but I know we had the best-looking group of Barbies around at Haskin Elementary!

On Wednesday all of our Vikings showed their team spirit during the pep assembly. The cheerleaders kept the crowd going and there were some fun competitions against classes, staff, and students!

Yesterday we had our annual parade and it was the best one yet. Every year our parade gets better and better. The royalty looked stunning, the cars were pretty dazzling, and the floats the students put together were incredible. Way to go Vikings!

The fun is not over! Come and join us for the Lady Vikings Volleyball game today! The football tailgate will start at 5:00 p.m. with plenty of Viking Swag to be handed out to tailgate attendees! Come join the fun and cheer our football team on to victory tonight against Ignacio!
