Focus on the Fabulous
On Saturday, students from the Academic Recovery Center (ARC) and the Center Virtual Academy (CVA) celebrated an important milestone as they graduated and completed their educational journeys.
Three students graduated from the ARC, four students graduated from CVA, and two individuals successfully earned their GEDs. Congratulations to these students for their perseverance, dedication, and commitment to seeing their goals through to completion. Their accomplishments reflect the many pathways Center School District provides to help students succeed and prepare for bright futures.

Alternative School Director Joy Werner, along with Board Members Miguel Rios and Amanda Garcia, joined in celebrating these achievements and had the honor of presenting diplomas to the graduates.
Our Viking basketball programs have already been hard at work this summer. Center recently hosted summer scrimmages featuring teams from Hoehne, Monte Vista, and Sangre de Cristo. Both the boys' and girls' teams also competed in a tournament in Sanford during the final week of May and represented Center well with strong performances.

The summer season provides valuable opportunities for our athletes to continue developing their skills, build team chemistry, and prepare for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, many of our Center Vikings are enjoying a well-deserved summer break-spending time with family and friends, staying active, traveling, working, and taking time to recharge after another successful school year. Joy Massey ran in the Rio Trio this past weekend and Stephanie Archuleta and her daughter, Javi, enjoyed a Rockies game!

We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer while creating experiences that will prepare them for an exciting year ahead.
